Bud was born in the Eastern Shore town of Easton on April 27, 1937. A lifelong resident of Maryland’s Eastern Shore – also referred to as the Land of Pleasant Living. Early years included time with his two brothers and two sisters, many aunts, and uncles. Every day life took the form of chores and work, with fishing, hunting, boating and the like squeezed in for good measure. His primary business career involved life as a real estate broker - namely Bud Wood Realty for over 50 years. Along the way management of a local store in Bellevue, time with Maryland Cruises, formation of Chesapeake Travel and Tours along with a Hunting Guide Service became realities. Personal attributes include the support many local conservation organizations, community services organization and the arts.All quietly done with modesty. Travels across the country, trips abroad, visits to points locally, time well spent. A firm commitment to family and friends rounds out the picture.
