voc ep: 53 Charles “Skip” Auld

Skip Auld has served as the Chief Executive Officer for Anne Arundel County Public Library since 2010. Together with the Library Board of Trustees, he develops strategic direction and implements policies, goals and objectives of library system serving more than 580,000 county residents through sixteen branch libraries and a headquarters operation. He is responsible for a $29 million operating budget and more than 300 full and part-time employees. During his tenure, the new Michael E. Busch Library opened along with a new library at Westfield Annapolis Mall.
