voc ep 80: Ron Peremel & John Way

Meet the founders as you get ready for Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival, a very special, beach-front music festival with a mission to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay through education, awareness and donations generated by a wonderful weekend of music and community. "Every Jam Saves the Bay."

Sandy Point State Park is the place on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 & 2, 2022 to enjoy 14 progressive bluegrass bands on two stages and an interactive workshop pavilion. Baygrass features delicious, locally sourced food, including fresh oysters, regional microbrews and wines, a ‘hopping’ beer garden, paddle boarding, yoga classes, beach and yard games, kids activities, local craft vendors, an exceptional VIP experience and much more.

Our core mission is to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay through education, awareness and donations generated by a wonderful weekend of music and community. Part of all proceeds from ticket, food, beverage and merchandise sales will go to Maryland-based non-profit organizations that work tirelessly to protect the Chesapeake Bay and its watershed. So just by having fun you’re helping the Bay. As we like to say: "Every Jam Saves the Bay."

Our secondary mission is increasing mental Health awareness in our communities and connecting the public with important mental health and wellness resources. We believe "Every Jam Helps a Mind."
